Ms Yuling Chen
Ms.Yuling
Chen is trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western
Medicine. She graduated from Guangzhou University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine which is a key university of TCM in China. After
five-year full time study she was awarded Bachelor degree of
Medicine. She had worked at the first affiliated hospital, Sun
Yat-Sen university in China as a senior Doctor and a clinical
supervisor of medical students and overseas students before she
arrived in Australia . Sun Yat-Sen university is a comprehensive
multidisciplinary institution, one of the top ten universities in
the People's Republic of China.
As a senior lecturer at Sun Yat-Sen university of medical sciences
in China, she gave lectures to the medical students in the
university and undertook medical research.
Ms. Yuling Chen is also a former director of China Guangdong
Provincial Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, a former
committee member of China Guangdong Provincial Association of
Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, a member of China
Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, a member of China
Association of Traditional Manipulation, an Expert member of the
editorial commission of Chinese Journal of Traditional &
Western Medicine.
Now Ms.Yuling Chen is a qualified Practitioner of Acupuncture and

Mr. Charles Xu (Prof, Ph D TCM)
Dr Charles
Xu trained in both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine for five
years and received his Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese
Medicine in China in 1995. Charles has many years experience in
clinical practice and research as an acupuncturist, herbalist,
massage therapist and surgeon. Charles furthered his studies to
complete and receive a Ph.D in Traditional Chinese Medicine in
China in 2001.
Based on
Charles’s qualifications and experience in Western and Traditional
Chinese Medicine as an Orthopedic Surgeon, Charles specializes in
painful syndrome, bone and joint diseases such as cervical
syndrome, stiff neck, frozen shoulder, lower back pain or sciatica
suffered from lumber disc hernia, muscle strain, lumbar spinal
stenosis, osteoporosis and spurs. Other complaints include tennis
elbow, knee joint arthritis, pain in the thoracic vertebra, and
headache and dizziness from cervical problems. He also treats
rheumatism such as rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
and hip disease. He employs complimentary treatments after fracture
and operation, and acute or chronic muscle and joint
sprains.
Charles
specializes in Liao needling and Jin’s 3-needle technique which
combines local and distal points to deliver a holistic treatment
that relieves pain quickly. Liao needling is a distal point
treatment, for example, a headache is treated in the foot, shoulder
pain treated in the leg, and neck pain treated in the
hands.
Jin’s
3-needle technique is a famous acupuncture method from southern
China which uses the three most effective acupoints, either local
or distal, to treat diseases.
Charles
specializes in Chinese Herbal Medicine and can prescribe the
individual herbs according to the patients’ tongue, pulse, disease
and syndrome. He also specializes in Chinese Remedial Massage and
can combine the acupuncture and trigger points to treat the pain
syndrome.
Rachel Fang MBBSc (London,UK)
TCM practitioner Rachel Fang is trained in both Chinese
Medicine and Western medicine. After 5 years full-time study, she
was awarded Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing University as well as
Bachelor of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex
University, London. She worked in Xi Yuan and Wang Jing hospitals
in Beijing, China.
In London Rachel Fang worked at the Pain Clinic in Whittington
Hospital and treated many NHS patients who suffered from
acute, sub-acute and chronic pain due to various causes, disorders
and diseases with acupuncture. She also practised
at the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine where she treated many
patients who suffered from infertility and sub-fertility as well as
other gynaecological conditions.
Rachel Fang also worked in a private integrated medical clinic in
London, where she practise as a general practitioner in TCM prior
to working at the Sydney Integrated Medical Centre.
Rachel Fang believes prevention is better than cure in health. She
therefore gives free dietary therapy as part of homecare advice
for her patient to help them to restore health by strengthening
their body constitution and enhancing immunity.
